The Speak Good English Movement and Jan & Elly are proud to present — The ABCs of Pronunciation: An English Pronunciation Awareness Workshop.
The workshop aims to advocate better English pronunciation and diction to enable the participants to understand and use proper English pronunciation in an international environment.
Basic principles of English pronunciation will be highlighted using simple phonemic awareness techniques. The facilitator will also point out some words that are commonly mispronounced by Singaporeans, discuss the reason behind this ‘unique’ occurrence and give tips on how to avoid using such intonation.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to sign up.
