Phonics

Jan & Elly's fun-filled, power-packed Phonics programme is designed to give your child that significant competitive advantage in school. It will equip your child with lifetime reading skills, coupled with a genuine delight in words and appreciation of language. Correct and precise word pronunciation is just one more invaluable benefit of our Phonics classes.

Phonics Readiness
This is our entry-level class for children with little or no familiarity with Phonics-for example, those who haven't learnt to distinguish letter sounds of the alphabet. It's designed to provide very young kids with a good reading foundation in a fun style.

Phonics Intermediate
This would be suitable for children who already have good working knowledge of each letter sound and a firm letter foundation.

Phonics Advanced
Children who have mastered basic blending skills (at least 4-letter words) as well as recognition of common irregular words should enroll at this level.

Pre-Creative Writing

This level prepares 6-year-olds for Primary 1 English through the teaching of basic sentence structure, paragraph formation, simple grammar and comprehension. The rudiments of writing creatively are conveyed in a fun, effective way.
